CPR Requirement

Q:  Is it true that only a CPR card that is approved by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association is accepted for licensing requirements by the Dental Board?

A: YES - follow this link: http://dbc.ca.gov/lawsregs/regulations/ch1_article4.htm

Read under 1017. Units Required for Renewal of License.

Here is an excerpt,

“As part of the continuing education requirements, each licensee shall complete, at least once every two years, a course in basic life support approved by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.”
