Ugly Compliance
I visit a lot of Dental Offices and I see a lot of ugly compliance mainly due to wrong information and not knowing what to do. The “doing something is better than doing nothing” concept doesn’t work with compliance. It is the responsibility of the employer to make sure the information (what you need to know) is correct and that all employees execute the correct work practices (what you need to do) at all times.
Follow these tips,
1. Develop correct policies & procedures
2. Train staff on the policies & procedures
3. Routinely enforce policies & procedures
4. Establish systems from the policies & procedures
5. Measure the results and challenge the standard
