Q: What topics do you recommend for yearly staff training?

A: I recommend that ALL staff members which includes front and back office, part time and full time, licensed and non-lessened to receive training every year in,

HIPAA
Dental Practice Act
Injury & Illness Prevention
Dental Board Infection Control
Bloodborne Pathogens Standard
Hazard Communications Standard

The training should be conducted “live” in your office by a qualified instructor.  This means no online courses, correspondence courses, monthly OSHA newsletters, videos, etc.
Training is not about EFFORT, it’s about RESULTS!
