Employee Safety Course

This course meets OSHA’s yearly training requirement for Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, Hazard Communication Standard, Injury & Illness Prevention Standard 

Patient Safety Course

Next level Instrument processing, treatment room preparation, cross contamination prevention and waterline maintenance are the critical areas covered. Note: This is not the 8-hour Infection Control Course for Dental Assistants.

Dental Board Course –

This course meets the renewal requirement for RDA, RDH, and DDS licenses. Licensed employees in California must take the Dental Practice Act and Dental Board Infection Control Regulations every two years as a minimum requirement to renew their dental license. 

Note: This is not the 8-hour Infection Control Course for Dental Assistants.

Mock Inspection and Office Evaluation!

A“Mock Inspection and Evaluation”of your office is included with a course.

Tom Terry applies his 50 plusyears of experience as a Healthcare Compliace Inspector, Foresic Investigator and Safety Trainer to create your dental office-specific “Plan of Action”.

The focus of a mock inspection are the three core compliance areas,

  • Patient Safety
  • Employee Safety
  • Environmental Safety

After the Mock Inspection, Tom and your staff meet to discuss the evaluation and receive a copy of the his Complince Masterplan.

The “Compliance Masterplan” is based upon the regulations and requirements of nine government agencies that regulate California Dental offices. The Compliance Masterplan is a “MasterCourse”for establishing an “Exceptional Patient/Employee Safety Standard.”

Once the Masterplan is completed,your office qualifies to be,

  1. Listed on Tom’s website as an “ExceptionalDentalOffice” in your city!

Q:Are Continuing Education Units(CEU) issued?

A: YES, each RDA, RDH, and DDS who attends a course will earn one CE unit for each hour of training. CE units meet Criteria One – Live which is the standrard established by the Dental Board. The average course is 4 hours. Note:CECertificatesarenotissusedtonon-licnesedemployees!

Each licensed employees who partisapate in the completion of the MasterPlan, will receive two CE cetificates for a total of 12 Selfstudy CE units. Note:CECertificatesarenotissusedtonon-licnesedemployees!
